Living Room Berfore and After

No stellar writing skills here. Just before and after photos of our living room
This is the living room while Mi Miguel was staying in the house. We finally sold our house in Indiana in May 2015.
July 2015 we purchased the house and started packing up the previous owners things and helping her family move the items out of the house. First order of business, rip out the carpet and scrape off the popcorn ceiling.

I painted the walls to flow with the amber 24x24 tile that we had selected. We planked the ceilings but returned the boxes and boxes of huge tile.
With the ceiling finished and a different tile selected and installed, the paint now looked like it had a yellow tinge in it. So I repainted the living room and dining room with a much softer more muted shade of turquoise.
This is where we're at so far with the living room. We still have a few decor things to work out, but overall we like the direction that we're going with it now.
Mi Miguel and I are tired. He is currently working on the master bedroom closet. It's completely built, just needs to be smoothed along the seams and then painted.
I'm currently working on painting furniture to match the curtains and walls. After completely painting the corner cabinet this shade of off white and green, it needs to be softened to go with the new paint and curtains. I also bought new hardware for it yesterday. Hopefully it will have a much softer look when I finished with it.
